The Local Premiere

If you're feeling the world falling apart, find a local skate video premiere to have your faith restored in communities.

Nothing too major, smaller scenes usually have the most magic.

No one's career is riding on their video part; it's not making anyone money, most likely losing it if you do the math.

None of that matters. That's the whole point.

You'll find a night dedicated to a scene. Small moments in time spliced together to capture something we all hold so dear, but can't quite explain.

No two shop premieres are the same, but there is one thing you can count on.

A deafening chorus of cheers every time a new part comes on, followed by friends jumping, throwing drinks and vigorously shaking each other with every major trick that goes by.

Levels of support and celebration generally reserved for world championships happening in a small retail store for a video the community chose to create on their own.

It’s the culmination of a multi-year endeavor with no instructions, no outside motivation, and no monetary gains.

Only a group of friends celebrating thirty minutes of four-wheeled accomplishments that mean nothing to the world, but everything to us.
