When motivational quotes scare you. 

My dad gave this to me in a time of uncertainty. He said it helped him make big decisions in his career.

I took it, thought too much, turned positive to a negative, and scared the shit out of myself.

My life has been spent skating; 99 % of my free time is failing. Not failing was a terrifying thought.

I look at it now, and it reads differently.

It’s okay not to know what your life’s passion or direction is. Those are not prerequisites for progress.

Don’t let fear control decisions.

Commit to trying. Trying leads to failing. Failing leads to learning. Learning moves you forward.

If you’re not happy now, then you’re failing already. What’s a little more failure in a positive direction.
